CCRAB Charleston Community Research to Action Board CCRAB About Us OUR CORE TENETS ARE ENVIRONMENTAL JUSTICE COMMUNITYBASED PARTICIPATORY RESEARCH AND CITIZEN SCIENCE. CCRAB promotes safe healthy and just neighborhoods within environmental justice communities in the Charleston region through communityled research and citizen science. CCRAB facilitates universitycommunity partnerships to investigate environmental and public health concerns identified by residents including but not limited to air quality soil quality water quality and flooding and climate change impacts. CCRAB originated as the Community Advisory Board CAB for the Lowcountry Alliance for Model Communities LAMC and was established as its own nonprofit organization in 2014.
