Helping CDFIs Deliver Flexible Affordable Financing to Bloomington Monroe County and the Indiana Uplands WELCOME TO CDFI FRIENDLY BLOOMINGTON Who We Are CDFI Friendly Bloomington is a 501c3 organization implementing a new strategy developed for the unique challenges of smaller communities to increase flexible and affordable financing for businesses nonprofits affordable housing and community projects in Bloomington IN and the Indiana Uplands region. In response to a greater need for local financing beyond what local banks could provide a group of Bloomington entities created CDFI Friendly Bloomington to increase flexible affordable loans in Bloomington and the greater Indiana Uplands for projects and businesses that banks and other conventional financial institutions cannot finance. We help bring in CDFIs that do not regularly work in our region to help meet these financing needs.
