As part of their annual class project and program wrap-up, the Leadership Wooster Class of 2025 partnered with the Wayne County Humane Society to support their mission and assist with facility needs. The Wayne County Humane Society is an independent, non-profit animal shelter that provides vital services including shelter, medical care, and adoption support for animals in need throughout Wayne County. This year's class tackled a variety of hands-on projects--from organizing storage areas and assembling/cleaning kennels to outdoor cleanup, power washing, yardwork, and painting the logo on the building. This project was a meaningful way to give back and build stronger connections within our community.
