Thursday Medical Updates coming your way! 🩺❤️ First, Curly. If you didn't see his other post, this little cutie came to us abandoned and alone at just 3 weeks old with a bad upper respiratory infection. As you can see, it left his eye with some issues we are continuing to work with. He needed to be tube fed as he wouldn't take a bottle and is still working on eating well. Curly is also having some severe constipation issues, which could be affecting his eating habits. The constipation is suspected to be from a congenital abnormality (possibly Manx syndrome, pelvic narrowing, megacolon etc...we don't have a definitive answer yet!) Our next big goal is get him bigger to take radiographs and take a look at his hind area internally. For now this sweet boy is working on growing and on various medications to provide him help and comfort in the meantime. Please send him healing/good vibes as we navigate his journey! ❤️ (fb)
