Coalition for Just and Compassionate Compensation (CJCC) TO The United States Tennis AssociationATTN Executive Director and CEO Lew Sherr We the undersigned demand that the United States Tennis Association USTA immediately terminate its sponsorship agreement with Chubb Insurance. The USTAs continued association with Chubb is deeply troubling and incompatible with the values of safety and accountability that should be paramount in youth sports. This is especially concerning in light of the recent independent review that concluded the USTA must do more to protect players from abuse such as sexual misconduct. Chubb is profiting off of survivors of childhood sexual abuse by undertaking a national strategy of refusing to pay out claims in child sexual abuse cases delaying justice and exacerbating the suffering of those who have already endured significant trauma.
