We Have a Winner The Winner of our 2025 Choral Composition Contest is Kestutis Daugirdas a High School Choral director who lives in Chicago. He has published a number of choral works has music in commercials and movies and he wrote a Cantata based on events of the Singing Revolution in the late 1980s when Estonia Latvia and his homeland Lithuania won freedom from the Soviet Union. His composition A Step Outside in the Summer will be a great addition to our concert in April.
