💪🐻HERCULES UPDATE✨ Just in case you missed it on our story, the results came back for Hercules’ calcium-specific blood test…and they are good! I mean, they aren’t great, but it’s manageable and in just one month we can see an incredible difference! He is currently off his medication, managing and improving solely based on diet. (Should he need his calcium meds again, we will start immediately if he starts to decline.) Fortunately, he loves to eat! And here’s something cool… He’s obsessed with kale and mamey fruit — which are high in calcium. His body has been craving it! Picture 2 is an example of his nightly diet. Kale, mamey, watermelon, and oranges are high in calcium. So are dandelion and blackberries! The first thing he goes for is the kale! PS A lot of kinks love kale! 🥬 And picture 3 was taking a month ago when he arrived. Check out that leg! Poor dude couldn’t even put that thing down. Now he is able to walk on all 4 feet hunched over. The mobility of the arc in his back is stubborn, but he is on such a road to recovery! He’s brightening up and in a larger enclosure. He’s a very clean guy! Poor thing must’ve been sitting in 💩 for who knows how long in a small space. He’s funny and has a great personality! It’s such a blessing to watch him blossom!
