Learning beyond classroom walls. At Heartwood Public Charter School our students learn beyond classroom walls cultivating a love for learning and exploring academics within meaningful contexts. We utilize a Nature and Placebased education model providing opportunities for students to build valuable relationships through experiential learning outdoor play and connection with nature. We believe that kind selfmotivated and empowered students grow up to be compassionate informed and engaged citizens who create resilient and healthy communities and become stewards of the natural world.
