This sweet boy, Tito, was rescued from a shed by one of our incredible volunteers. We just found out he’s FIV+. Please read the facts below about FIV to understand that he can live a happy, fulfilled life without spreading the disease to other cats. He deserves love & a safe space to bunk until we can find him a furever home.🩷 • • • *FIV is a viral infection that weakens a cat’s immune system, making it harder for the cat to fight off infections. With proper vet care & good nutrition, he can live a normal life. *FIV is transmitted through deep bite wounds, often during fights. If all cats are fixed and non-aggressive, FIV+ cats can often live safely with FIV-negative cats.
