The Newark Police Division is the largest municipal police department in the State of New Jersey and employs over 1400 sworn and civilian members to protect Newarks occupants. The Newark Police Foundation was created for the purpose of furthering the Newark Police Divisions mission of serving and protecting the residents of and visitors to the City of Newark.
