Teen Mental Health First Aid Teen Mental Health First Aid or tMHFA is an evidencebased training program for students in grades 1012 that teaches the skills to recognize and aid their peers experiencing mental health and substance use challenges and crises including how to quickly get the help of an adult. The Maya Gold Foundation believes the teen Mental Health First Aid training is an invaluable resource for teens especially during these difficult times. We are currently able to offer this training to high schools and youth groups at nocost thanks to our partnership with HealthAlliance Hospitals and Westchester Medical Center health Network.
