Safe Roots Foundation Supporting a new wave in teenage drug misuse prevention Our mission is to provide financial and technical support to the most innovative approaches to prevention of harmful teenage substance abuse Our Programs and Approach Safe Roots Foundation supports positive youth development programs that offer healthy alternatives to drug misuse and truly move the needle in reducing harmful substance use. Our Vision and Beliefs We envision a world where young people have the agency and support they need to make safe and healthy decisions while experiencing the joy of adolescence. We believe that teenage substance misuse prevention programs are critical underresourced and in need of an update based on our current understanding of risk and addiction. Attracting new resources for prevention Safe Roots Foundation helps companies make smart social investments in communitybased programs that help protect young people and protect their industries.
