Our Monthly Girls Leadership Club Meetings in each of 37 villages are one of our GEP highlights. In each village, girls are elected by their peers for a year to serve in a number of capacities: maintaining and decorating their Learning Center; raising funds for an annual service project to the elderly poor in their own village; helping other girls beyond the GEP members get school supplies; and other training and learning opportunities. In 37 villages, and one day many more, girls are getting practical experience in servant leadership, preparing them one day to do even more. Our newest Learning Center! On Sunday we officially opened our new Learning Center in Mirzapur, village #34 in our GEP. We work in a total of 40 locations, 34 official villages, 3 “test” villages where girls will likely officially join the GEP in 2026, and 3 slum areas. And we now operate Learning Centers like this one in all 34 GEP locations.
