Racing For Children Racing to Cure Childhood Cancer. Overview The Racing for Childrenx27s RFC concept was developed by Birmingham motorsports enthusiasts and its supporters at Barber Motorsports Park who were inspired to provide children in treatment at Childrens of Alabama with special adventures at the track. What started as giving hot laps around the track as a distraction became a mission to raise awareness and research funds to advance cures of childhood cancers and blood disorders.
