The Buckhead Cascade City Chapter of The Links, Incorporated is a U.S. nonprofit organization located in Atlanta, Georgia. The chapter was formally established in June 1995 (though initially reported as June 27, 1996) with thirty-nine founding members from diverse professional backgrounds in the Atlanta community[1].

History and Founding

The formation of this chapter was facilitated under the leadership of several national officers, including National President, Patricia Russell-McCloud; the late National Vice President, JoAhn Brown Nash; National Executive Director, Mary Douglass; Seventh National President, Julia Brogdon Purnell; and Southern Area Director, Joyce Dixon. Link Theopia Tate served as the liaison to the National Office during the chartering process. The core group of fourteen former Links expanded to include twenty-five additional community leaders[1].

The Buckhead Cascade City Chapter supports a variety of programs aligned with The Links, Incorporated's Facets, including:
