One of Yoga4Cats’ programs is WeTNR: We Educate Trap-Neuter-Return. TNR programs are critical for humanely controlling the population among stray, feral, and community cats. At the core, this is the primary mission of TNR. 🎯 However, another benefit is the improved health of the cats that receive services. ✂️ Take a look at Anna, one of our WeTNR program kitties. The pics are taken several months apart. We love that she’s proudly displaying her eartip - the universal sign indicating that someone cared enough to get her altered and vaccinated. 😽 What a remarkable difference in Anna, thanks to this vet care! She has gained weight and her coat has filled in - no longer wiry and sparse. ✨ When cats are part of the WeTNR program, they not only get spay or neuter surgery, they also get rabies & FVRCP vaccinations, and are often treated for parasites. 💉 This basic vet care improves the health of these cats while reducing their risk of diseases and infections.
