ABOUT THE AURORA PRIZE OUR PURPOSE On behalf of the survivors of the Armenian Genocide and in gratitude to their saviors the Aurora Prize for Awakening Humanity is granted to those who risk their own lives to save the lives of others suffering due to violent conflict or atrocity crimes. The Aurora Prize Laureate is honored with a US 1000000 award and has the unique opportunity to continue the cycle of giving by using those funds to support grassroots humanitarians and humanitarian organizations that give a second chance topeople in need.
