Washington Island Music Festival Washington Island Music Festival Washington Island Music Festivals 34th Season Every year in August Washington Island welcomes its Music Festival a series of concerts led by codirectors Stefanie Jacob Scott Tisdel and Teresa Drews. The Festivals events are now the heart of the Islands summer music schedule. Our mission is to present a series of extraordinary performances of chamber music led by professional musicians to implement and support the Music in the School Program for Washington Island students and to provide opportunities for engagement with the people of Washington Island while generating economic activity for the community. Our Musicians Worldclass musicians donate their talents to the Festival spending two weeks living and performing on the Island and establishing strong ties to the Island community.
