Homepage - Oasis International In Africa the number of Christians has grown rapidly to 700 million in just a century. However there is a severe Bible shortage Only 15 million Bibles distributed each year despite 20 million people becoming Christians annually Bibles typically have a shelf life of 5 to 10 years which means only 150 million Africans have Bibles. This leaves 550 million Christians without a Bible. What we do Transforming Lives Providing Bibles books and training in 34 countries is fostering spiritual engagement and church growth across Africa.
