WRETAC The Western RETAC WRETAC is one of eleven regional EMS and Trauma Advisory Councils RETACs in Colorado designated by state statute and funded with Highway Users Tax Funds HUTF. The WRETAC promotes emergency medical and trauma care for patients in the counties of Delta Gunnison Hinsdale Montrose Ouray and San Miguel in Western Colorado. Mission Statement The mission of the WRETAC is to promote foster and support cooperative organization of Emergency Medical and Trauma Services in the Western Region and State utilizing data communications protocols and education to provide Quality Improvement.
