Join the WSU Extension Master Gardeners on Saturday, May 31, at 9:30 a.m. for "Rain Gardens," presented by Gary Fredricks. Gary is the county director for WSU Extension for Cowlitz and Lewis counties and oversees the Cowlitz County Master Gardener Program. He has worked with WSU Extension for 41 years. We live in an area where we either get too much rain or not enough. If your landscape suffers from being too soggy, Gary will discuss an environmentally friendly way to create a native plant oasis that soaks up the extra rainwater.
