Springtide is made up of musicians, songwriters, and central figures in the Mid-Coast Maine fiddling scene with Willy Clemetson on fiddle and foot percussion, Elsie Gawler on cello and fiddle, and Ethan Tischler on guitar. They combine a love of high energy traditional Celtic and Scandinavian fiddle music, heartfelt original tunes and songs, and spacious creative improvisation, lifting audiences with the music of the landscapes they come from, and drawing inspiration from the tidal rhythms and creative energies of the coastal land they call home.
