The Constellation Project VISION AND MISSION Families with LGBTQ children and those with LGBTQ parents both face stigmatization at many levelsinstitutionally within social networks and as individuals. For these families small nonprofit organizations work to build community and acceptance and researchers work to increase understanding and support. All seek to alleviate stigma and improve the lives of families with LGBTQ people but historically outreach for nonprofits and for research has been separate as has been outreach to families with LGBTQ parents and to those with LGBTQ childrenresulting in multiple sets of budgetary privacy and technical challenges to reach similar populations and limiting outreach capacity for nonprofits and researchers alike. To dramatically scale up the impact and size of nonprofits and research the logical innovation is to share a common outreach solution.
