WFIS is the sounding board for legislative ideas providing an on theground perspective of how policy affects our schools. Accreditation Professional Educators Advisory Board Legislation and Policy Advocacy We work with legislators and policy makers to ensure that legislation in Olympia affectingschools and education is crafted with the particularneeds of private and independent schools in mind. Agencies and Committees WFIS represents the interests of private schools on agency boards and working groups and serves as the official liaison organization for independent schools with OSPI and the Department of Children Youth Families.
