Who is the Jefferson Choral Society The Jefferson Choral Society JCS is the longestperforming and largest volunteer adult choir in Central Virginia providing the greater Lynchburg area with a variety of performances including choral masterworks as well as Broadway show tunes folk songs popular music gospel music and music from nations around the world. Membership in the choir requires an audition with the Music Director attendance at weekly Monday evening rehearsals and paying membership dues. The JCS typically performs three major concerts each year at Christmastime in the midwinter and in the spring as well as an annual benefit concert at the National DDay Memorial.
