Dedicated to Protecting Serving the City of Long Beach with Specialized K9 Units. Welcome to the Long Beach K9 Officers Association The Long Beach K9 Officers Association is a nonprofit organization which was established by members of the community with the goal of promoting and supporting the K9 Unit. The Association has no official connection with the City of Long Beach. It is a littleknown fact that the City of Long Beach does not purchase its own dogs for use in the Police K9 Unit the individual officers who wish to handle the dogs must share in the purchase of their first dog.
