Today, we are proud to spotlight Tricia Clary who serves as President of our Board of Directors. Tricia brings a wealth of experience and a heart for equity, education, and youth empowerment to her leadership role. Her commitment to creating opportunities for all is evident in both her career and her volunteer work. In her own words: “For the past 20 years, I have been an elementary school teacher, committed to creating an equitable learning environment where every child has the chance to thrive. I believe that education is a powerful tool to level the playing field, not just in the classroom but throughout the community. This belief extends to my volunteer work with My Friends Place, Safe Harbor’s youth shelter. Supporting youth experiencing homelessness - some of the most vulnerable members of our community - has been a deeply meaningful experience. I strive to help these young people overcome obstacles and realize their potential. My work both as a teacher and volunteer reflects my dedication to empowering youth and advocating for fairness and opportunity for all.” We are incredibly grateful for Tricia’s leadership, her compassion, and her steadfast commitment to the youth and families we serve.
