A new law aimed at increasing protection for survivors and families of domestic violence is set to take effect in Indiana this summer. Senate Enrolled Act 324, signed into law by Governor Mike Braun, will require courts to consider electronic monitoring for individuals charged with domestic violence. YWCA Director of Empowerment, Jennifer Rohlf, shares that this is a good starting point in addressing a much deeper issue. We want those experiencing domestic violence to know that they don't have to navigate the complex justice systems alone.
