Active Places for a Healthy and Connected Alamo City About ActivateSA is a grassroots tactical planning initiative and thinktank composed of architects landscape architects conservationists civil engineers civic leaders transportation planners and others working collectively to implement bold new active transportation infrastructure through advocacy consensusbuilding and technical design. Making San Antonio a more just affordable resilient and vibrant place requires empowering San Antonians to get around their city safely and efficiently on a transportation system that works for everyone pedestrians cyclists drivers and transit users. ActivateSA seeks to enhance the efforts of community leaders in advocating for connected and efficient walking and cycling infrastructure across the city building an active transportation network to serve every neighborhood and giving San Antonians the freedom to move however they choose.
