What We Do The Life Insurance Association of Michigan LIAM is the trade association for the life insurance industry in Michigan representing both Michiganbased insurers and those headquartered in other states. We advocate on behalf of the industry on legislative regulatory and public affairs issues that arise in Michigan. LIAM is active in the development of public policy and strategically engages in opportunities to enable its members to provide sound financial security products and services to customers.
