Welcome Welcome to Project South Institute for the Elimination ofPoverty and Genocide Brownsville Futures Project The Brownsville Futures Project will draw from this rich history and legacy to create a communitybased movement building campus that reverberates the past present and future of our historical traditions and liberation dreams. Take a look atProtecting Black Lives Defending Our Communities our report on practicing mutual aid through providing six weeks of free testing for SouthAtlanta and surrounding communities. Given this countrys history of inferior healthcare for Black Brown Indigenous and poor folks as well as its active methods of keeping our communities locked out of access to education living wages and other resources that would move folks out of poverty we knew that with COVID19 our communities would suffer the most. The Project South Team has been building growing collective power for 37 years.
