Seedlings to Sunflowers – Non-Profit Childcare & Family Center Seedlings to Sunflowers is a highquality nonprofit school with a unique and progressive approach to early education and child development. As a childcare and family center we are available to all members of the family and act as catalyst to community building. We believe in a holistic approach to child development incorporating academics physical and nutritional wellness and play. We foster the belief that every child presented with the opportunity to belong develop independence cultivate generosity and master skills will develop a healthy sense of self and that their ability to succeed academically will be enhanced.

Today, Seedlings to Sunflowers came together in green to recognize World Mental Health Day — a reminder that mental health matters at every age. Our team shared how we support our own mental health on a special hallway poster, highlighting the many ways we care for ourselves and each other every day. From taking mindful moments to connecting with loved ones, each message reflected the importance of nurturing well-being in our community.

🚒🔥 Today was an extra special day at our Gorham Industrial Parkway campus —our preschool and Pre-K students got a real-life lesson in fire safety thanks to a visit from the amazing team at the Gorham Fire Department. Our little learners were all ears (and wide eyes. ) as they learned about fire safety, smoke alarms, and the important stop, drop, and roll technique.
