Greenmount West Community Center

The Greenmount West Community Center is a U.S. nonprofit organization dedicated to providing innovative programming and opportunities for growth, particularly for youth and families in the Central Baltimore area. Established in March 2017, it has become a significant hub for community engagement and development.

Mission and Vision

The Greenmount West Community Center Foundation envisions a safe, welcoming, and inclusive gathering space where opportunities for growth, learning, and creativity are boundless. They aim to expose local youth to diverse fields such as arts, sciences, politics, academia, and beyond by facilitating interactions with renowned individuals from these areas. Programs and Initiatives

Notable partnerships include work with the Baltimore Museum of Art, Baltimore Montessori Public Charter School, World Central Kitchen, and the Maryland Food Bank.

Impact

The Greenmount West Community Center has made significant contributions to the Central Baltimore community, serving over 40 children daily and employing additional youth from the area. Its initiatives have led to the distribution of thousands of meals and arts supplies, benefiting seniors, families, and children alike.
