Today is the World Day for Cultural Diversity for Dialogue and Development! 🌎 While the title of this day is quite a mouthful, the idea is simple—we should celebrate the things that make us different, and build foundations based on peace and cooperation. Many global conflicts are related to cultural differences, and we can make a difference by embracing diversity in our communities, especially in today's world. At SERRV, we partner with thousands of artisans and farmers from different countries and cultures, helping them preserve traditional crafting techniques and patterns through their work and sharing the beauty of their artistic traditions with our fair trade family. What's the buzz today? 🐝 It's World Bee Day, and the perfect opportunity to celebrate these powerful little pollinators! Without them, many of the plants we enjoy on our tables and in our gardens wouldn't exist. Here's to bees! Check out our bee-inspired garden collection on our website. Last year, SERRV helped fund a beekeeping class for artisan women in Israel and the West Bank to help provide them a secondary source of income when there aren't olives to harvest and press. They're able to protect the bees and provide for their families—a win-win! (fb)
