Support Your Community Our Work The dramatic increase in the cost of housing on Whidbey Island in recent years threatens the very fabric of what makes our community special. It creates barriers to house those of us that our community relies upon to run our shops schools restaurants and vital services. HOWs mission is to create permanently affordable homes for local island residents to ensure a flourishing community for generations to come.
