Amazon is failing to deliver on its promises to reduce worker injuries. A new report from the Strategic Organizing Center reveals: Amazon's serious injury rate remained nearly double that of non-Amazon warehouses in 2024. Nearly 4 in 10 Amazon workers worked at facilities in 2024 that saw increasing injury rates from the prior year. Injury levels spiked during sales events like Prime Day and other major holidays. Amazon executives had promised to make safety a priority, but the data shows they are failing.
