Ecological Citizen's Project An ecological citizen is someone who understands that the social problems we face are interconnected and must be met through transformative personal change and creative collective action in their home community. The ECPworks to build a movement of people willing to listen to each other learn together and help lead community campaigns to produce a more justhealthy democratic and regenerative wayoflife. We have a track record of social impact in the Hudson Valley 40000 Hudson Valley residents switched to 100 NYS renewable energy in 8 municipalities We helped establish NYs fourth Community Choice Aggregation Learn more 2284 people cast ballots and 1340 people volunteered to work on shared priorities We developed the Community Congress initiative Learn More 15 new farmers trained and linked to land to establish 3 new public food gardens in 2020 we launched the Regenerative Communities program Learn More 82567 MTC02e estimated to be sequestered by local natural resources which support life The NYS DEC called our GHG Inventory one of New York States most comprehensive and innovative reports completed by a local jurisdiction.
