Celebrating Year-One Wins! 🎉 Earlier this week, SME PRIME teacher Trent Trout shared the incredible success of his SME PRIME program’s first year with the Saline Board of Education — and the impact is clear: ✅ 4 first and multiple top 3 placements in 6 competitions ✅ 378 industry-recognized certifications earned, including: • Starrett Snap-On Precision Measurement • CAD, CAM, CNC • HAAS Certified Operator ✅ 6 field trips to manufacturers and trade shows for real-world learning 👏 Sarah Walker, SME PRIME Education Programs Manager, and Kara Stemmer, Director of the South & West Washtenaw Consortium, also took the stage to emphasize the importance of hands-on learning and career exploration through CTE and manufacturing-focused education.
