Cottonwood Environmental Law Mission Statement Cottonwood is a group of freethinking rabble rousers dedicated to protecting the people forests water and wildlife of the American West and having fun doing it Current Work PROSECUTING BIG SKY RESORT AND THE BIG SKY WATER SEWER DISTRICT FOR CLEAN WATER ACT VIOLATIONS. WORKING WITH TRIBAL MEMBERS TO LET YELLOWSTONE BISON ROAM FREE ON PUBLIC LAND AND INCREASE HUNTING OPPORTUNITIES. DEFENDING MONTANANS CONSTITUTIONAL RIGHT OF CITIZEN BALLOT INITIATIVES. PROSECUTING THE YELLOWSTONE CLUB FOR POLLUTING THE GALLATIN RIVER.
