A great big hello and welcome to our new Tommy's Place friend Olivia! Olivia and her family and friends visited us at Tommy's Place in Falmouth! Olivia's mom in her own words... "We were blessed with a stay at Tommy’s Place and it was more than we ever imagined. So much thought went into every room and amenity. The location in Falmouth is incredible and the people at the shops were so welcoming. We were able to forget our tough reality for 7 days and just enjoy each other. No doctor’s offices and hospital room walls just incredible views and fun! The kids were able to enjoy the pool even in early May with some warm days. We especially loved the game room, kitchen seating, tavern and that we all could have our own bathroom a once in a lifetime luxury! We were able to have some family and friends visit us and they were just as blown away by the generosity. We did things as a family we normally couldn’t and our Ovarian Cancer warrior Olivia was able to enjoy seeing many different beaches which were on her wish bucket list. Olivia is a huge Swiftie and she took over the Taylor Swift room for the week and made her wall art space in the home Taylor Swift themed as well. Music and Art has been a huge outlet for her through her journey. Her super sibling Lilliana enjoyed the “finer” things in the home like juice out of wine glasses and sitting back relaxing in the theatre. We feel incredibly blessed by all involved with Tommy’s Place and the volunteers who make it run. Thank you doesn’t seem enough. Tommy's Place Summer Event Schedule! Tommy's Place provides 104 free-of-charge vacations per year at its magical vacation homes in Falmouth and Centerville on Cape Cod. Third-party fundraisers, held by incredibly generous individuals, businesses and other organizations, are the fuel that helps keep Tommy's Place running 24/7/365! Tommy's Place does not receive funding from the government, hospitals or large corporations. Tommy's Place relies 100% on the generous support of individuals, businesses and organizations to help support our mission of bringing smiles to the faces of kids fighting cancer. Most, if not all, of these events are always looking for donations and volunteers to help support their events, so please reach out to ask the organizers how you can help.
