Tornadoes swept through Kentucky, Missouri, and Virginia this weekend—destroying homes and lives. St. Louis was especially hard-hit, with at least five lives lost and thousands displaced. One of the many buildings damaged was Metropolitan Congregations United (MCU), a longtime force for racial and economic justice in the region. But even amid their own losses, MCU is stepping up—launching a Relief Assistance Fund to support people impacted by the storm. While FEMA delays, MCU acts.
