The student films produced through the Institute have garnered numerous accolades, with a total of 197 awards from various film festivals. These films have been featured at 46 international, 73 national, and 41 regional festivals, including broadcasts on platforms such as HBO.

The organization focuses on equitable access to filmmaking education, offering scholarships for students in financial need and working in collaboration with local schools and community centers to broaden its reach.

Mission

The mission of the Florida Film Institute is to provide educational programming that develops students' skills in film production and supports their career aspirations in the media arts. By nurturing creativity and promoting collaboration, FFI aims to cultivate the next generation of storytellers and visual artists.
