Last week three of our masters athletes competed in the USATF World Masters Indoor Championships in Gainesville, FL. Wayne Tavares snagged a bronze medal in the high jump and finished 5th in the pentathlon! Bill Newsham competed in the 800m, 1500m, 3000m, and the 10k road race, getting a season best in the 3000m with a time of 11:46.00. Jon Berit competed in the 60m, 200m, 400m, 800m, and the shotput, running a season best of 35.00 seconds in the 200m.
