artworxLA Our Impact Since 1992 artworxLA has served over 18000 students in over 50 alternative high schools across LA County with 400 artist residencies and partnerships with over 75 cultural institutions. I like seeing us as a community here especially since were not from traditional schools. I like how even for kids like us they still care for us. Marleen Student at an artworxLA presentation event at the Autry Museum of the American West MISSION artworxLA combats the high school dropout crisis with a longterm sequential arts program offering a pursuable life path that inspires students to stay in school evolve as unique individuals and flourish as creative adults.
