Did you know today is Clinical Trials Day? 🔬 We’re celebrating the power of research to change lives — and the people who make it possible. So far this year, Arkansas Children’s has launched 25 new clinical trials, each representing hope, innovation and progress for kids everywhere. Clinical trials are the foundation of medical innovation: testing new treatments, improving existing therapies and expanding access to advanced care. For our patients, clinical trials often offer access to breakthrough therapies that may not yet be widely available. Each trial represents a step toward safer, more effective care designed specifically for children, from novel cancer treatments to gene therapies. And behind every trial is a dedicated team: doctors, nurses, clinical research coordinators, scientists, and, most importantly, the families and children who volunteer to participate.
