Remember when Moose came in we could not work with him on a leash?? This big boy wanted nothing to do with a leash and was not afraid to bite! We do not put any pressure on our dogs during decompression or recovery time. Moose was recovering from an emergency surgery a week after being neutered so we just spent time together. Sometimes sitting with a dog is all they need! Super reactive as you can see in the beginning but we have been working on building a relationship of trust, understanding and respect! When I did not let him act up he realized the leash is not a weapon and he should not fear it. We do not know why he acted the way he did but we do understand we can show him the rewards of that leash. He may have been abused with a leash or he may just not like it but together we will get through this. When a rescued dog feels safe with a human they are ready and willing to change their ways. Mental Health has crumbled since social media … We live in a world where people are all acting for likes comments or shares! Everyone wants that perfect life full of luxuries and freedom flaunted in social media‼️ People have forgotten about life, morals and respect just to gain followers and support from complete strangers! Some of the things we see on social media is clearly mental health issues trying to get famous..”Yea let me dress like a unicorn and jump off a bridge using a drone to film it … hopefully I live and I’ll go viral. I’ll be famous “ You are who you attract … Be yourself … Learn to live for today instead of existing for social media 🙏 Trust me I been there … I use social media to spread love and awareness Not for validation or acceptance ‼️ I share my life to inspire others … I actually live this life 💯 I do this for the right reasons… I do not want anyone to sit through the pain I have sat through to be a decent human‼️ I battle with mental health everyday and refuse to follow crowds.
