Thanks to everyone who came out to help with our Missing Waters public art installation ... all 95 of you! When everything was said and done, we covered a whopping 2010 feet of Railyard surface area. It's a Painting Party! 🎨🥳 Friday, April 25th, 10am-4pm Santa Fe Rail Trail by the Railyard Park Help us put the public in Public Art by joining in the installation of Stacy Levy's large-scale water map painting "Missing Waters"! Created using a biodegradable mixture of chalk and water, the piece is meant to evoke Santa Fe's more watery past, when at least 40 acequias flowed through the region. Bring your creative energy and dress to get messy, we'll provide the paint and brushes. Stick around to celebrate your artistry at the "Missing Waters" opening from 5pm-6:30pm outside the Railyard Park Community Room. Enjoy drinks, snacks and live music from local bluegrass band Shaggy Peak. There are still seats available for the "Missing Waters" artist talk/panel discussion on Sunday, April 27th from 1pm-2:30pm at SITE Santa Fe.
