Happy Market....Tuesday 📊 The market sure didn’t take a holiday yesterday! 🤓 Showing activity was 2.4% lower than last year yet five out of nine ranges experienced gains. The strongest gains were concentrated in the upper end where buyers are least sensitive to interest rates and where months of supply is higher. The average 30-year mortgage rate weighed in at 6.97% today after spending several days above 7.0%. At the end of April, the rate stood around 6.8%. Recent movement in the 10-year treasury is encouraging as yields fell back. If continued, this trend should ripple out into lower rates.
