Microgreens took the stage yesterday at The Bellaire Magnet School! We brought in five trays of this delicious and nutritious superfood, courtesy of our friends at Miohmyfarms. Students sliced tomatoes and cucumbers and then packed on the microgreens for their hummus wraps. These classes are a great way to promote the hummus option that is offered daily in New York City Public Schools cafeterias at lunch time, introduce new foods and make cooking and eating healthy fun!
