Zac Childers is a clinical specialist at New Vista who provides counseling for Deaf and Hard of Hearing individuals using American Sign Language. Anna Duncan, Director of Community Engagement and Clinic Operations, has played a key role in expanding services for underserved populations, including the Deaf and Hard of Hearing community. In their upcoming workshop, Zac and Anna will share how mental health professionals can better support Deaf and Hard of Hearing clients. This introductory session will cover communication needs, cultural awareness, and best practices for providing accessible and inclusive care.
